2022 Orcas Island Solstice Parade Information
After an understandable two-year hiatus, parade organizers have good news: “SAVE THE DATE🌞 JUNE 18th 2022 🌞Solstice Parade 🌞 is happening!!”
This year’s event will be the 22nd annual Orcas Island Solstice parade. It’s a beloved annual celebration for the emerald isle that starts at high Noon in Eastsound. The 2022 parade theme is “Radiate Sparkles.” A celebration is slated to follow at the Stage on the Village Green. If you love Orcas Island, parades, fun, and, most of all, summer, this could be the event you’ve been waiting for.
If you’re a regular parade-goer, rest assured that parade participants and costumes change annually. Though, you can always count on a big dragon to stroll through middle of town every year. Speaking of participants, organizers have never required participants to register over the past two decades. Talk about an only-on-the-island tradition!
