There’s a lot of great Oregon Hikes in Hood River and glamping at Camp Vagabond Lodge gives you easy access to lots of them! The views you’ll enjoy may be one of the coolest parts about hiking in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. From Mt. Hood to waterfalls to wildflowers to country side to the mighty Columbia River, you’ll be able to see it all!
If you’d like to know almost everything about almost every hike around the Gorge, click here to be directed to the Hood River Ranger District site. Said simply – it’s comprehensive!
The Friends of the Columbia River Gorge have got quite a nice site, too – check it out here. You’ll be able to search for the best hike for you and your group straight from the homepage filtering by length, features, elevation and difficulty.
Rather not research?! We’ve got you covered! The Multnomah-Wahkeena Loop Hike is a great hike that features ten waterfalls in just under 5 miles. You’ll climb about 1600 feet in elevation and get to enjoy some pretty diverse geography. PortlandHikers.org has a great post highlighting the trip, providing plenty of recommendations and some great detail about all of your options.
So go ahead and take a hike on your Oregon glamping adventure and don’t forget to call in advance to book your glamping tent. Our pals at the lodge are available at 877-386-2992 as well as online to help guide your experience!
