A big part of any camping or glamping trip other than the outdoor adventures is . . . the food! Cooking at your glamping site can be both really rewarding and, really challenging. We highly recommend cooking at least one or two meals a day right at your glamping tent and we offer a few add-ons for you to choose from to help make the cooking equipment packing part of your vacation a little bit easier.

If cooking at camp (or just cooking in general) isn’t quite your thing – no sweat. Orcas Island offers lots of great nearby dining options. We’ll take a look at a few great lunch options below.
Heading to Eastsound?
The Kitchen
is a great spot for a hot lunch. Their philosophy is to buy from local producers; buy organic; make it here; keep it simple; keep it fresh and enjoy your meal! If that sounds good to you, have a look at their menu here. Oh, and their hours change a lot with the seasons so give ‘em a ring for the latest at (360) 376-6958.
Roses Bakery and Café
offers a great menu that changes by the day and features cuisine of the season using island raised meats, produce and regional seafood. You’ll usually find great soup, sandwiches and oven fresh pizza on the changing menu and will be glad that you popped in for a bite here! Questions? Their number is 360-376-4292 and they’re generally open Monday – Saturday 8:30 am – 4 pm.
The Madrona
is a real crowd pleaser with lots of pub style grub like burgers and sandwiches. Check ‘em out here or give them a ring at 360-376-7171 They’re Open daily at 11:30 am for lunch, 4:30 pm for dinner.
Mia’s
offers food of the people from all over the world and locals comfort foods! Mia’s can be reached at 360-376-6427 and operate 9 am – 3 pm (Monday – Saturday); 9 am – 2 pm (Sunday)
The Saturday Farmer’s Market
If you’re lucky enough to visit Orcas Island on a Saturday from the first weekend in May to the last weekend of September, you have got to check out the Orcas Island Farmers Market! It’s open from 10am to 3pm every Saturday on the Village Green in the heart of Eastsound. There are lots of great vendors and you can easily enjoy a great local lunch with the locals!
If you haven’t got enough time to stop and dine, then get a sandwich to go from the Orcas Food Co-op. You can choose from their deli case, from their popular selection or create your own custom sandwich to pack ‘n go!
