Summer is right around the corner. That means Orcas Island farmers are fast at work, lovingly tending their crops and livestock anticipating the Farmers Market. Starting on the first Saturday of May, Farmers offer a wide variety of mostly organically grown vegetables, as well as a delicious range of cheeses, jams, sea salt, honey, and much more at the weekly Orcas Island Farmers Market!
Locally-made goods
Farmers are not the only ones having fun at the market. Be sure to wander through the many booths belonging to our local artisans. Felt animals, jewelry made from locally sourced materials, as well as clothing and bags, are just a few of the items you’ll see while exploring the Market on a Saturday afternoon.
Lunch time!
Just looking to grab something to eat before or after an adventure? The Farmer’s Market has you covered with an assortment of fun food booths. From pizza to falafel, there is always something delicious to try!
The Eastsound Village Green hosts the Farmers Market Saturdays from the first weekend of May all the way through that last Saturday in September. You’ll find all the fun in full swing from 10am to 3pm. The Farmers Market is the perfect spot to really get the feel for local island culture!
