You already know that there are plenty of reasons to go glamping in the Gorge this summer but did you know that one of those reasons is a Fruit Loop?
That’s right, you can start your self-guided tour of the scenic 35-mile loop in the Hood River Valley right from your Oregon glamping tent at Camp Vagabond Lodge!
What’s along the Fruit Loop? The nation’s largest pear-growing region and one of the few places that offers the complete experience of growing, producing, and then enjoying fruit and wine! You’ll be treated some jaw dropping valley scenery along with fruit stands, wineries, berry farms, lavender farms, alpaca farms and even chestnuts!
Summer Fruit Celebration Weekend is August 16th – 17th so almost everyone in the valley is doing something special.
Can’t make it this weekend? Plan on making a fall glamping trip and check out the Pear Celebration September 20th and 21st! Be sure and book your glamping tent early to get in on all of the fun!
