2023 Season Experience Update: B.Y.O.B. (bring your own bedding and bath supplies)
We setup cedar platforms with canvas tents on walk-in Moran State Park campsites.
You take it from there.
Summer is not over – just have a look at all of the glamping news! Well, maybe you don’t have to look at all of the glamping options in the news. Just focus on our spots, the articles in our press room, and our latest mentions below!
Coastal Living Magazine
Coastal Living Magazine is crushing on Orcas Island in their September 2018 edition. Even better, they’ve dedicated a full page to our “Pacific Northwest glamping fantasy” in the heart of Moran State Park. You can check-out the glamping article here to learn more about the experience that we’ve crafted on “Washington’s rugged offshore gem.”
USA Today
USA Today also included us in a glamping news roundup recently. Not only did they highlight our glamping opportunities in the middle of 5,200-plus acre Moran State Park, they also offered a shout out to our pals at Westcliff Lodge in Hood River.
Here’s a bit about our experience in Moran State Park on Orcas Island straight from the article:
“The handful of glamping sites within the park are platform tents, and though they don’t have water or electricity, and cell phone service is elusive, there’s plenty to keep you occupied – just let Mother Nature entertain you.”
And, here’s a bit about our pals down in Hood River:
“Imagine days filled with playing in and on the water, mountain biking, exploring the gorge and even wine tasting, and then returning to your glamping tent for the night. Wake up to views of the river from your front door – well, flap – and get out and enjoy all that the area has to offer.”

Like we said in our opener – summer is not over! If you haven’t gone glamping with us on Orcas Island this season, check our rates and availability right away. We’ll close the tent flaps for the 2018 season on September 30th!
