There’s nothing quite like kicking back, relaxing, and tossing your keys aside for a few days. And, there’s no better place to take it nice and easy than our glamping sites in Moran State Park on Orcas Island.
Squash ferry-anxiety
If you remember the San Juan Islands back in the good old days, you may recall those famous ferry waits. Don’t fret, those days are long gone. Rather than wait in line wishing and hoping that you’ll make a boat, you can claim your spot on the sailing that you want by making a ferry reservation.
Washington State Ferries will release reservable space two months, two weeks, and two days in advance of your sailing date. Because of that, you may not see any sailings reservable right when you book with us. It’s all good. Sit tight and set your alarm for 7am on either two months, two weeks, and two days before your voyage. We’re serious about setting your alarm. You’ve got to be ready to score the spot that you want!
Lose your keys
Once you ma
ke it to your Moran State Park glamping site, you can toss your keys aside. We fully-outfit all of our glamping sites so that you’ll enjoy a comfortable outdoor experience. Plus, we offer add-on kits so that you don’t have to sweat packing the small stuff.
You’re also in the right spot for adventure. Cascade Lake is just a stone’s throw away. When the weather’s right, you can paddle board, row a boat, peddle a boat, fish, or swim. Moran State Park’s hiking trails also start right around the corner from our glamping sites. You can hike up to Cascade Falls, Mountain Lake or, if you’re ambitious enough, all the way to the top of Mount Constitution.
If you feel like branching out from 5,000 acre Moran State Park, you can. Rosario Resort is a few-mile hike away. Among other attractions, Rosario offers a fun seasonal general store as well as food and beverage. Getting out on a sea-kayak or whale watch is another great reason to stroll down to Rosario.
Rather relax?
Perfect. Just because you’re surrounded by opportunities for adventure doesn’t mean that you’ve got to go for it all. Sometimes a stress free vacation can mean soaking up the sun reading a good book and chilling in front of the campfire. Regardless of your appetite for adventure, you’ll get to do as much or as little as you’d like when you’re glamping with us.

Book early to avoid the stress of finding the site you want on the date that you’re after isn’t available. We’re now accepting bookings for the 2018 season and would sure love to welcome you to camp for a stress-free experience.
