All about the Lit Fest
The Orcas Island Literary Fest is the perfect choice if you love books. If you love the great outdoors, our glamping sites in Moran State Park are for another perfect choice. The Literary Fest brings folks who love reading together with authors who love to write. Our glamping sites bring folks who love the great outdoors closer to nature – comfortably.
This Fest is top-notch. New voices, literary award-winners, poets, and literary icons from across the planet will gather on humble Orcas Island to celebrate the literary arts.
Have a look at the line-up of authors here as well as the Panel Conversations. While Friday’s discussions are free and open to the public, Saturday and Sunday panels, chats, and workshops require a pass. They’ve got family-friendly options covered, too. Family Fest fun is all yours on Saturday between 10:30am and 12 noon.
Even better, the planners are almost more impressive than the authors! We’ve lived within these magical isles for over a decade, and are continually amazed by all of the remarkable talent surrounding us.
