The days are getting shorter, the mornings crisper, and we’re pulling out our winter coats. This can only mean one thing; our small town holiday is here!

Orcas Artisan Fair
December 1st & 2nd
The Annual Artisan Fair will take place at Oddfellows hall in Eastsound on Dec 1-2. Featuring 40 vendors and craftspeople from all over the San Juans, it’s the perfect spot to find a gift for that hard to shop for person on your list. Slip into the festive spirit and wander through booths of beautiful locally-made goods.
You’ll love the cozy island atmosphere. Don’t miss it: the fair is open Saturday from 10am-5pm, and 11am-4pm on Sunday.
Eastsound Holiday Celebration & Tree Lighting
December 7th
It wouldn’t be the holidays without a visit from our favorite jolly old man in a big red suit!
Grab your mittens, bundle-up, and come visit Santa on the Village Green in Eastsound on December 7th, starting at 4pm. Enjoy cookies and hot cider while listening to your favorite holiday tunes performed by the Community Band.
Santa and Mrs. Clause will hand-out gifts to the kiddos promptly at 4:15pm.
Stick around till dark (a few minutes later!) to ring in the holiday season with the tree lighting ceremony.
Holiday Concerts
December 8th & 9th
Add music to your holiday this year, and enjoy a variety of seasonal Orcas Island concerts. The Orcas Choral Society’s 60 members will ring in the holidays by entertaining you with a variety of new and old favorites on December 8th & 9th. Or enjoy the Celtic and European sounds of Stille Nacht on December 8th.
Either concert is sure to rev-up your holiday cheer!
